As you are aware, the importance of design in everyday life has increased and a major economic growth opportunity emerged around design. To grab the opportunity in the design and creative sector, the Government of Karnataka is all set to create a Design District in Bangalore. The project is proposed by ISDC and Jain University in association with the World Design Council, UK.
Bengaluru Design district will house Design startups, Corporates design centres, AR/VR Companies, Animation, Visual Graphics & Gaming companies, Media & Advertising Companies, Product Design companies, Creative agencies, Digital design companies, Architects & Interior Designers, Sound / Video Studios, Content Creators, Creative Artists, Freelance Designers etc. With an investment of about 1000 Crs the design district will create over 35,000 creative jobs in the next 5 years.
